Why should I apply?

We build your MVP for you.
Each successful applicant will receive £10k worth of seed investment towards their idea, delivered by SuperTech and no_code experts, Million Labs.
Expert no_code developer assigned to each successful applicant.
You will work with a leading no_code expert throughout the process to build and develop your MVP. More on our experts can be found below.
1:1 mentorship with our entrepreneur in residence (EiR).
Our in-house EiR will support you throughout the programme, checking in on a weekly basis and signposting towards any support needed.
Networking events.
We’ll be hosting two-speed networking events with local investors and entrepreneur stakeholders, and you will also have access to networking events with guest speakers that include COOs, CEOs, and CROs of FTSE listed companies.
Access to hotdesking in Birmingham.
Successful applicants will have access to a brand new co-working office in central Birmingham, that has been specifically designed for digital and tech businesses to form, scale & grow.
Connect with fellow Seeds.
You will gain automatic access to the SuperTech community, which includes our Seeds alumni, and we will also host bi-monthly drop-in sessions for you to share experiences, brainstorm and connect with fellow Seeds.

HOW SUPERTECH SEEDS WORKS

We have up to FIVE MVP builds to fund, equivalent to circa £1 million worth of free, new product development.
Key details:
You will be asked to submit a short video explaining: your business idea; why you think it is great and why you’re an entrepreneur to be backed through the programme (max 10 mins).
Applications are welcomed from entrepreneurs within the West Midlands Combined Authority Area - meaning a postcode in this geography - with priority for applicants from Birmingham, Dudley and Walsall.
Other non-WM within the UK applicants are welcome, but cannot be funded by the Community Renewal Fund and hence are subject to the availability of alternative funding streams.
The process is simple and involves completing a short application form. Upon receipt, the information is reviewed for eligibility and we will request a short application video to explain more about the MVP build sought through participation in the pre_accelerator.
If you are successful, we’ll work with you to understand your idea and will then build your MVP for you in a fraction of the time it would normally take, in order to help get your idea to market sooner.
This isn’t a conveyor belt incubation approach whereby there are sessions and highly scheduled attendance over a set period of time.
Depending on the state of idea readiness, our approach is to work with the founder to rapid-spec the MVP to create a true market test of the business idea and enable a meaningful business launch.
For some this means generating revenue; for others it can mean onboarding potential customers as a demonstration to investors.

CEO of The Data Company Technologies
Kali is a serial entrepreneur with over 35 years’ experience in software development in financial services, insurance, healthcare, and construction in the UK, Europe, Nordics, and South Africa. Currently CEO of The Data Company Technologies, Kali also invests such as an InsurTech Platform that improves the identification, matching and collaboration between the insurtechs, insurers, service providers, consultancies, and investors in a fun and engaging way.
